Reebok Question Limited Edition Retro
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past couple of weeks (not that there’s anything wrong with that), you probably know that Allen Iverson has rejoined the Philadelphia 76ers. And if you’ve walked into a Foot Locker any time in the past week or so, you’ve probably seen this classic re-issue of his first signature shoe, the Reebok Question. Well, the Sixers finally got their first win with AI last night, so it’s time to give the shoe some (more) shine. With the suede tip and the icy blue outsole it was probably the-OK, the second-best shoe of ‘96.

Jordan CP3.III ‘Mardi Gras’
The Jordan CP3.III, Chris Paul’s third signature shoe from Jordan, hasn’t even released yet, and we’re already getting a look at a third colorway. This “Mardi Gras” version, which is about as New Orleans as it gets, will drop at House of Hoops locations on Christmas Eve. The speckles on the midsole are supposed to represent Bourbon Street confetti, but we just think it looks cool.

adidas Superstar II ‘Method Man’
Here we have yet another release from the adidas x Def Jam 25th Anniversary Collection. Following in the footsteps of the Ghostface Stan Smith, adidas has created a sneaker on the Superstar II silhouette that pays tribute to the Iron Lung himself, Method Man. White is used on the toe area and the sole, as well as the tongue where Meth’s portrait is featured. B Store Spring/Summer 2010 ‘Martin’ Trainers
Here’s a sneaky peek into B Store’s SS10 footwear collection. B Store are known for their dandy twists on classic footwear but the new Martin model sees them take a new direction.
In comparision to their usual fare these are almost Common Projects-esque in their restraint – and they’re all the better for it. As long as they don’t forget their dandy roots (and judging from our other SS10 previews they haven’t) they’ll be a-okay with us.

Nike x Maharam Horsehair Collection | Blazer & Oregan Waffle
T Magazine has a first look at Nike’s latest project with textile supplier Maharam. The collection emphasizes “the relationship between the way a sneaker looks and how it feels.”
“With these $250 sneaks, Michael Maharam shot for what he calls “restrained opulence,” choosing a luxurious but underused fabric, horsehair. Nike calls horsehair “a renewable resource” because it’s clipped painlessly from the horse’s tail, but Maharam concedes that horsehair is not a practical replacement for everyday fabrics. “It grows slowly, is woven on arcane Victorian-era looms at a tedious pace, and costs a fortune,” he says.
The Nike x Maharam collection features three classic weaves — basket, check, and striae — on two of Nike’s easily recognizable (grace à swoosh) sneaker silhouettes, the high-top Blazer and the low-top Oregon Waffle.”
Now available at select Nike Sportswear retailers, including 21 Mercer in NYC.
